It was not so long ago when the duo came into the scene just sometimes after the later tide of the pandemic which hit the whole world. Their debut single “Life Of A Star” did not really hit the world at the time, but their debut project at the end of the year spurred them as one of the new acts to look out for. When “New Chapter” their sophomore project was released last year, with it’s follow up deluxe some three months later, it was certain they were up to the task. Consisting of the brother duo Thrillerbancing and ThrillerSantaz, their dynamism as an artiste duo is peaking and reaching new heights on every release.

Rain” is their first single this year released after some months of reflection on their next step. “Rain is an expression of how the appreciation we feel and a verbal manifestation of what we believe we deserve. It is inspired by all the heartwarming feedback we have received from our fans across the world“, OG Thrillerz reveal via a press release.

On “Rain“, brazy guitar licks and calming chords ushers us in before the heavy bass drums kick in. The atmosphere is set for an up-tempo vibe with the mood very much fixated on sending out important messages, specifically on their growth. “Rain” comes out as a soulful and melodic celebration cut which the artists acknowledge the supports of their followings and affirm to us of their belief to hit more milestones on their journey. The dynamic is not much different from what you expect from an artist duo, but their biggest strength lies in their uniformity of approach. On “Rain“, they complemented themselves with thematic uniformity from the hook to verses.

Rain most times symbolizes rebirth or a pause for introspection. The message is no different on this track with most parts of the track are splattered with the knowledge and intentions to grow. It is indeed the beginning of a new era for the brother duo and it could not have come a better time. Since the artists began teasing the track on their socials, it’s not difficult to decipher that they are ready to take the big steps. It remains to be seen what will be done, but expectations will remain high for these talented acts.
