It’s been an eventful year so far at the MAVIN record label; a top label managed by the energetic and intelligent business expert, Don Jazzy. Having released flawless projects for nearly all of its acts except Ladipoe and Crayon (did not drop any projects), coupled with the release of chart topping ‘Overloading (Overdose)’ , MAVINS really made the most of their tenth year count.
Celebrating their 10 years anniversary, the label decided to commemorate that milestone with the release of an album titled ‘Chapter X‘ – a 10-track album which featured all its artists. The album also features the aforementioned song and the new popular single ‘Won Da Mo‘ – the first time all MAVIN acts appeared together on a song.
Speaking on the Mavin 10th year anniversary Special, Don Jazzy reflects; ” We are incredibly blessed to be 10. It’s not easy to have that staying power in our industry, but our fans have been amazing. They’ve been with us on this journey and they’ve relentlessly supported the amazing talents we discovered and groomed here at Mavin. We are inspired to do more and to continue pushing the industry to the global stage“.
With the album already gaining massive tractions, the label added to a toppings on the cream we have been fed so far. The label announced a 10 hours concert set to hold in Lagos with its artists acting as the headline acts. Artists like Don Jazzy, Rema, Johnny Drille, Magixx, Bayanni, Ayra Starr, Ladipoe, Boy Spyce and Crayon are all set to grace the stage to give the potential audiences some great performances.
The Mavin all star concert set to hold on the 16th of this month is a curated experience that is set to be one of the year end’s biggest Afrobeats event. With tickets affordably priced at Twenty Thousand Naira (20,000), it would be part of the annual LivespotXFestival and would feature an array of fan centered activities that would be rolled out in the coming weeks.
This is one of the best places to be at for the detty December as the MAVINs try to close out a memorable year for the label. This is a 8-in-1 package and a show that should not be missed at all costs.
