Nigerian rapper, singer, and DJ Lop3z is set to make a powerful return to the music scene with her new single “MATA,” dropping on June 20, 2025.
Born in Surulere, Lagos, and hailing from Delta State, Lop3z began her musical journey in secondary school, inspired by icons like Eminem and Dr. Dre.
After early beginnings as Efa Lopez and later E. Lopez, she took a break to focus on DJing. Following her early 2025 release “Pay Me,” “MATA” marks her official comeback as an independent artist.
With sharp rap flows and Afrobeat energy, Lop3z describes the song as “a statement for everyone who doubted me.”
