Another great offering from the fantastic duo.

In the music industry, the term “match made in heaven” most time typifies an exceptional artist-producer relationship which has served a sizeable number of commercial songs, or maybe just great songs that resonates with listeners. Asake and Magic Sticks are cream of the crop in recent years, Olamide and Pheelz had their run, Spaxx and Show Dem Camp are great together et cetera. However, with J’ray and Mista Bradley, a connection with the potential to reach the elite level of those aforementioned duo is taking shape progressively.

The first seed of this impeccable relationship was sown on J’ray’s debut project “High Notes The EP” in 2019, with Mista Bradley helming major production works on the project. The duo have since developed over time with several collaborations in their wake. The latest addition to a strong and yielding link-up is the recently released and potential summer hit “Cruze

On “Cruze“, J’ray and Mista Bradley opts to create something unique from what has previously been the results of their fruitful collaborations. J’ray shifts into an intimate mode on Cruze, unlike his previous releases this year. The production is smooth, upbeat and teasing as it combines the eclectic elements of Afrobeats, Pop and Dancehall soundscape. J’ray bears out his heart to his love interest as he croons out his feelings of fondness with lots of assurances to back it up. It’s liquid-cool temperature emits a summer time vibe with it’s mild feels. The production closes in as the best we have received from this solid partnership.

When quizzed on how the track was created in our interview with him, he responded “Cruze really came about with Bradley sending me the beat and I just happened to be in my studio at that time. The moment I heard the beat, I started writing on it naturally. I recorded on it and sent the files to Bradley and he did the magic behind the scenes. He sent me the final version after some few adjustments, which is exactly what we released“.

Indeed, J’ray and Mista Bradley have achieved perfection once again. Working with someone over time allows you both to maximize to the strength of the other, and most times yields fruitful results. “Cruze” is the result of a collaboration which has improved in strength at every turn since its inception. The reward is an absolutely flawless offering. Two words to describe this song ? SIMPLY OUTSTANDING.
