Amid various topics, Wizkid made waves with his statements, ranging from not wanting to be labeled an Afrobeats artist to signaling the end of “Pakurumo Wizkid.” However, the most notable statement regarding the album was his declaration regarding who should refrain from downloading it.

He unequivocally stated, “If you like Afrobeats, don’t download my album…”, implying a departure from the Afrobeats genre entirely. This statement has caused quite a stir online, especially considering Burna Boy had previously made similar statements.

These remarks have only intensified the anticipation surrounding the album, as fans eagerly await to see what new musical direction Wizkid will explore and how it will diverge from his previous Afrobeats works.
