Ghana’s soulful songbird Gyakie has unveiled the official trailer for her highly anticipated debut album, “AFTER MIDNIGHT.”

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Alex Piper—known for his work with Rema, Playboi Carti, and Travis Scott—the visual captures Gyakie’s artistry with cinematic depth, spotlighting her journey from a musically gifted child to a fully realized star.
Born to legendary highlife musician Nana Acheampong, Gyakie carries a rich heritage, yet “AFTER MIDNIGHT” marks her own statement: an intimate, deeply personal project crafted almost entirely during late-night hours of reflection and creativity.
Inspired by quiet prayers, family traditions, and the emotions that surface after dark, the album explores love, heartbreak, joy, and spirituality. Both personal and universal, “AFTER MIDNIGHT” promises to be Gyakie’s most defining work yet.
The album is set for August 29th
