Since launching in 2020, the “Class of” series has served as a vital springboard for emerging and established talents, spotlighting the vibrant spectrum of Nigerian music.

Building on the legacy of past editions that introduced stars like BNXN, YKB, Soundz, TAR1Q, and Magicsticks, the 2024 edition expands Ejoya’s influence with a socially diverse, genre-spanning release. “Class of ’24” is curated into three sections: “Flow State” (Hip-Hop), “Velvet” (R&B), and “Roots & Drums” (Afrobeats).

“Flow State” features lyrical heavyweights like Vector, Tr1gga, Biq D, and Tomi Obanure, delivering powerful rap anthems. “Velvet” showcases emotive R&B voices including Shorae Moore, Noon Dave, and Tomilola, blending classic soul with Afropop influences. “Roots & Drums” celebrates Afrobeats with vibrant performances from Peruzzi, Majeeed, Yng Ray, and more.
