2022 has been a memorable year for so many artists all over the world. Narrowing it down to Nigeria and afrobeats, some artists were extraordinary with their imperious form this year. Duncan Daniels is one of those few artists.

Fresh off his sixth studio album titled ‘Songs Of Limited Optimism [S.O.L.O] which was released in August and submitted for GRAMMYs considerations, Duncan Daniels continued to push his music with the series of press tours and cameo performances in different shows all over the UK as well as his recent publishing deal with Sentric Music. Out of many achievements and records broken, these ones stand out and takes him a step closer to his personal aim of spreading his sound to the world.

Despite all of these wonderful heights reached, Duncan Daniels has refused to slow down as he closes the year with another smashing single titled ‘Yard Party (Pull up)‘. On this song, he employs the service of international artistes like Jamaica’s Dancehall act Win$ton J, British Rapper, CREZ and vocalist Khloe Celia. The mid tempo Afro-Swing anthem is so addictive and is most suitable when preparing for a night out. Although, slow and relaxed, it could be used to relax as well.

With the star of the show owning the chorus duties and Khloe Celia with some nice vocal coloring underneath, Win$ton J and CREZ contributed two jaw-dropping verses. We might as well just have a well executed Afro-Swing anthem for the detty December. This one is top drawer and easily enters into the conversation of Duncan Daniels’ best non-solo songs. That’s how good it is.
