Nigerian artist Double XL, born Nwakor C. Meshach, has released his debut EP, “On My Way”.
The project is an introspective project charting his journey of self-discovery and ambition, blending Afro-pop with messages of resilience, spirituality, and love.
The standout track, “Diamonds and Pearls” featuring Biggest Savage, reflects his unique life experiences, while “Shayo” offers comfort to those dealing with betrayal.
“On My Way” also includes “God’s Willing,” a tribute to Double XL’s faith, and “Best Buddies” featuring Vehnorm, inspired by the artist’s own longing and connection. Rounding off the EP, “Gospel Gangsta” reveals his commitment to spreading a gospel message in a relatable way.
