Following the release of his latest single, “Funds,” featuring Odumodublvck and Chike, the Afrobeats superstar took to Twitter to share the exciting update.
In his announcement, Davido wrote, “THE JOURNEY CONTINUES in 2025 with my new album, 5IVE! This one is straight from the heart—my story, my truth, my growth…”
The album is set to drop on March 7, 2024, promising to showcase Davido’s evolution both as an artist and as an individual.
“5IVE” is already shaping up to be a standout project, with two singles released ahead of the album—”Funds” and “Awuke,” featuring YG Marley. Both tracks have created significant buzz, setting the stage for what fans are expecting to be a remarkable musical journey.
In a Spotify interview he had, he shared “I mean it’s my fifth album, I’ll say I was more relaxed, I explored more…You’re gonna hear some old Davido on this album, and some new experiences”
