Nigerian singer Barry Jhay is gearing up to release a deeply personal and sentimental project titled “Barrystar, Vol. 1.”

The album is a heartfelt tribute to his late father, the legendary Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, who is widely celebrated as a pioneer of Fuji and Wéré music in Nigeria.

Through this project, Barry Jhay aims to honour his father’s legacy while also showcasing his own artistic growth and emotional depth.

“Barrystar, Vol. 1” is set to drop this Thursday, April 10, and promises to be a compelling blend of tradition, tribute, and modern sound.
