It was previously reported that Lungu Boy” had tied with “Jiggy Forever” for the longest charting #1 album, but now it has surpassed that milestone.

The album has officially spent seven weeks at the top of the charts, making it the longest-charting Nigerian album on Spotify in 2024.

This accomplishment extends beyond just Spotify; Asake’s “Lungu Boy” now holds the record for the longest #1 album across major platforms: Spotify (7 weeks), Apple Music (6 weeks), and Audiomack (8 weeks).
