In the opening seconds, some interesting guitar strings ushers us in, giving us the idea that this is a track with much emphasis placed on its production. Akaycentric’s keeps us hooked with his smooth vocals as he narrates a heartfelt love story with a lady named Imanse who has a stronghold on his feelings. Lemar, however, adds a different dynamic with his vocals and complements the message with his delivery of endless promises and commitments. It gets more interesting when both artists make a duet and their vocals aligning with the other seamlessly. The back up, ad-libs and melodies they created together makes it special.

What is a collaboration if it doesn’t amplify the strengths of the artists involved while finding a common ground for the artists to settle. Collaborations could either be pure or strategic. Whichever way it is, the result has to be right. Imanse excels so much due to the raw synergy that exists between both artists. Not at any point did they sound out of place or trying to fit into the other’s spectrum in other to score a good collaborative effort. The music is enough proof that this is a result of a pure link-up to create something extraordinary. Well, they did and it’s nice see so much intentionality from the artists, the delivery and production. It is a well planned record from top to bottom.
