In the annual ranking of the best albums, several Afrobeats albums have earned their place on the 2023 list published by Rolling Stone, a renowned American monthly magazine.
Topping the list at an impressive number 26 is Amaarae’s “Fountain Baby,” closely followed by Asake’s “Work of Art” securing the 37th position.
In the lower rankings, Mr Eazi’s “The Evil Genius” claims the 63rd spot, while Burna Boy’s “I Told Them” secures the 71st position, and Adekunle Gold’s “Tequila Ever After” wraps up the list at the 85th spot.
This recognition on a global platform signifies a significant triumph for African music, underscoring the immense quality and impact of Afro music on the international stage.
