AkayCentric, formerly known as AKAY, born in Benin City, Edo state, Nigeria, and began his musical journey in Lagos, where he crafted his Afrocentric sound and unique stage name in 2010.

Holding degrees in Accounting and Education from Lagos State University, he further refined his skills at the Ten Strings Music Institute, excelling in live music performance and vocal coaching.

Renowned for hits like “Parachute” and “Loving You,” AkayCentric solidified his reputation as a male vocalist and love song maestro.

Now, he’s returned with “Imanse,” featuring British R&B sensation Lemar. This love song, fuses Afro-pop, R&B, and soul. Produced by Bastano and meticulously mixed and mastered by Taye Olusola, this track promises to captivate listeners with its melodic charm.
