Laycon rose to well-deserved stardom after winning the reality TV show Big Brother Naija in 2020, dropping his debut album shortly after.
This cemented his name as one of the most iconic rappers in Nigeria. Shortly after that, he released his sophomore album, and it has been almost silent from him since then, with just a few singles to keep fans satisfied.
But in grand style, like a king, he has announced his return in a short video posted on his Twitter page. He is not empty-handed; he is accompanied by his return with an album.
The album, “Bioba”, is a symbolic one, a majestic re-entrance. The title is a cue from his last name, Agbeleshebioba, and “Bioba” translates to “like a king” in English. Further details about the album are still withheld, but this return is one that we are all excited for.
