Seyi Vibez’s “SWAGUU” is taking over Nigeria’s album charts, reaching No. 1 on both Spotify Nigeria and Boomplay.
The project’s rise sees Seyi Vibez take the top spot from Asake’s “M$NEY,” which had dominated the Spotify chart for 16 weeks.
On Boomplay, “SWAGUU” has also climbed to No. 1, ending “M$NEY”’s run after more than 20 weeks at the summit. Asake previously set the platform’s benchmark with “Mr Money with the Vibe,” which spent 25 weeks at No. 1.
With “SWAGUU” now leading two major streaming platforms, Seyi Vibez has delivered one of the biggest chart takeovers of the year. The project’s rapid rise puts him directly against Asake’s long-running dominance and gives the new album a strong start across Nigeria’s streaming space.
