The prolific DJ’s new mixtape “Amapiano Essentials” which arrived in August peaked at #19 on the Nigerian Apple Music Albums chart. This makes it the highest peaking DJ Mix of all-time in the history of Nigerian Apple. It is also the first DJ Mix to chart in the Top 20 of the chart. It is the record-breaking Nigerian DJ mix on Apple music.

A feat unattained by no one yet shows how impressive a record it is for DJ Phil and surely is a sign of better things to come for DJs in a Nigerian music space dominated by artistes.
