Nigerian hitmaker Asake has reached another major career milestone as his acclaimed album “Work of Art” officially surpasses 800 million streams on Spotify.
The achievement marks Asake’s second project to cross the milestone on the platform, further solidifying his dominance in the global Afrobeats streaming era.
With the feat, Asake joins Burna Boy and Tems as the only Nigerian artists with multiple projects above 800 million Spotify streams. Burna Boy currently leads with three projects, while Tems and Asake now hold two each.
Originally released in 2023, “Work of Art” delivered standout records including “Lonely at the Top” and further elevated Asake’s global reach, commercial success and streaming influence across international markets.
