MTN Nigeria has teamed up with D’Banj’s C.R.E.A.M platform to relaunch the MTN Best of the Streets—an initiative aimed at uncovering and promoting hidden talents across grassroots communities in Nigeria.

Officially reactivated on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, the program comes with an impressive prize pool of 250 million Naira.
This year promises to be the biggest yet, with over 2,500 creatives set to be recognized, rewarded, and given a platform to shine. Speaking on the initiative, D’Banj stated, “The CREAM Platform is built to empower talents, creatives, and entrepreneurs, providing them with tools for content monetization and global visibility.
With our newly introduced distribution channels and creative grants, we’re not just discovering talents—we’re helping them scale to international levels. This year, we’ll be taking the Best of the Streets to neighborhoods and campuses across the country.”
The launch event was held at the MTN office in Ikoyi and welcomed several notable personalities. Among them were top music executive Chris Anokute—known for discovering stars like Katy Perry, Muni Long, and Rihanna—alongside Dandizzy, P.Priime, Matthew Ohio, Lagos State Youth Commissioner Mobolaji Ogunlende, Obi Asika, and other industry veterans and creatives.

The event featured engaging conversations on the potential impact of the initiative, with key stakeholders expressing their support and enthusiasm for the platform’s mission.
