Super talented Nigerian afrobeats artiste, Odusanya James Olanrewaju (Jodex Rowland), though hailing from Ogun State, Nigeria, was born and raised in Lagos State. Started making music as young vibrant high school kid, gaining cheers and plaudits from freestyles rendered in class to class mates and peers. Being the musical head from time, Jodex Rowland has over time evolved in his craft and has turned into a master in the afrobeats genre.
Jodex Rowland had spent years away from the headlines, taking keen interest in personal investments in his music, sampling and playing around sounds. Generally honing his art to bring about the Jodex Rowland we now have today. Originally a fan of trap music, his interest in afro is what has now shaped him into one of the finest afrobeats superstars to watch out for in the coming years.

Jodex Rowland released his first official studio single “Holiday”, in the year 2022. An absolutely romantic tune, one which revealed a side of Jodex Rowland. He has described himself as a guy, who like any other human, has desires, wants, and needs, and he is open about his sexual desires. In his words, he said, “I’m a guy who loves sex so much, and I think people do, but you don’t see anyone talking about it, which is where I come in.” He keeps it real, and his music connects directly from the soul.
This March, Jodex is set to team up with Jayfred(the beat wizard) and Bhadboi OML, to deliver the track, “Sex Story”, and just like “Holiday”, this further she’d light into the personality and sexual interests of Jodex, as it is a song meant to surely get you in “the mood”, and bring out that naughty nature.
The song will see the three amazing superstars give a perfect delivery to the track with each individual giving his different “sex story”.
It has always been Rodex’s goal to excel at music where he can pour out his passion and soul, Telling relatable stories, and connecting massively with his listeners. And he aims to do that via Afrobeats/Afro-fusion.
In the coming years, Jodex hopes to continually dish out resounding and addictive tunes continually, hopping on various trends, sampling various elements and implementing his discoveries to make more magic.
