Nigerian Afrobeats artist Ema Onigah has officially released his sophomore EP, “ITEM VII,” a seven-track project that further defines his evolving sound and artistic identity.
Inspired by the popular Nigerian party phrase “Item 7,” the project reflects enjoyment, intention and full experience, with each track contributing to the EP’s broader narrative.
Led by the breakout single “With You,” which has already surpassed one million streams across platforms, “ITEM VII” showcases Ema’s blend of emotive songwriting, rhythmic Afrobeats textures and modern melodies.
The project was shaped alongside close collaborators including Tuzi, Wademix, TUC, Arieenati and PD.
Following the success of his debut EP “Dust Off” and standout releases under gamma., Ema Onigah continues to position himself as one of Nigeria’s promising new-generation Afrobeats voices.
