After teasing it online for a couple of weeks, Duncan Daniels shares his highly anticipated single.
Fresh off the release of his first single of the year, “Patronize”, Nigerian-born US-based Afrobeats act, Duncan Daniels keeps the lover-boy ball rolling as his new record fits perfectly into that narrative.
Like the title suggests, The RnB/Soulful Afropop record draws inspiration from Banky W’s 2009 smash hit “Strong Ting”. The record features the talented Yadima and Demola the violinist with the latter stealing the show with mesmerizing violin riffs all through the record.
Speaking on the record, Duncan said “I wanted to create a song that reminds people of the power of love and the strength that it brings. ‘Strong Ting’ is about two people who have each other’s back no matter what life throws at them.”
